Definitely not the so called "4-star property" one would hope for. Lacking in all areas.
Location could either be described as being good or bad, dependant on the time. The villa was located on one of the busiest streets in Seminyak, making it lively and accessible to shops, groceries, foods and transport. However, due to the rowdiness in the area, it restricted us from deep sleep due to the echos of people and live music which lasted till atleast 1am.
Breakfast was not up to an acceptable standard which would be seen in a 4-star property, with lacking variety of food and such. ESSENTIALLY NO ONE SPEAKS OR PROPERLY UNDERSTANDS ENGLISH AT THE PROPERTY. The host/property owner was not welcoming at all, as when we requested for an early check-in the answer we received was "Subject to availability" with no follow-up call telling us whether we would be legible for early check in, as we were set to reach Bali airport at 9am. Further, when we asked for late check-out, due to our flight being at 9pm, meant a late check-out would be helpful, we were denied upon request. Fortunately, we were given the chance to keep our luggage in a secure area until our taxi came for our flight. When we arrived at 5pm to pick up our luggage, we found that no one had checked in till atleast 5pm. As per the timings, housekeeping requires 2 hours from check in to check out, and had we been given late check-out till 1pm or 2pm, we would have allowed atleast a comfortable 3 hours for housekeeping to clean, in which they generally use 2 hours as per timings. Before writing such a review for Villa 88 we felt the need to personally speak to the property owner Ferdinand, however he felt the need to read our messages and not reply to our review, and once we texted again. we received a call of great attitude and unhospitable behaviour. He started the call 'rebutting' our points stating merely that he tried his best to get everyone else to work well. He seems to be from Jakarta meaning he isn't in Bali all the time (or even most of the time), meaning he doesn't take full time care of guest, as he is too busy in his Jakarta. The manager of the property was welcoming as we met him on a few occassions, however the one person who seemed to understand and speak english was inaccessible/unknown of where he was working or where he could be found. They seem to not care about their guests...

Best Villa
Everything. The location and facilities. One of the biggest villa with pool in Bali with reasonable price. Nearby Kayu Aya Street. Thr staff all helpful and friendly. The house so spacious and can fit 10 people
Only the shower pump not so strong in the bathroom.
